Bungartz 4701 (holotype); Graphis pedunculata Bungartz & Aptroot ; Ecuador; Galapagos; Santiago; 0° 12' 19'' S 90° 47' 6'' W; Cerro Gavilan, directly below the summit at the NE-exposed slope (SAN 8); 828 m; moist upland; formerly with scrub or forest, disturbed by former grazing therefore shrubs and trees missing; artificial pampa with Solanum americanum, Portulaca oleraceum, Senna occidentalis, Borreria laevis, and grasses, basalt boulders and outcrops ; on rock, N-exposed overhang (95°) of basalt boulder; shaded, wind- and rain-sheltered, moist upland; formerly with scrub or forest, disturbed by former grazing therefore shrubs and trees missing; artificial pampa with Solanum americanum, Portulaca oleraceum, Senna occidentalis, Borreria laevis, and grasses, basalt boulders and outcrops .
